Get Outside.

Based in the Wood River Valley, we are an outdoor adventure education nonprofit empowering the leaders of tomorrow to connect to their environment, their community, and themselves.

Respect for All

Idaho BaseCamp's set of core values remain consistent throughout our programming, and we strive to imbue each participant with what they need to take care of themselves — and others — while stepping outside their individual comfort zones and exploring what the world has to offer, and what they can offer the world in turn.

Whether it's through the thrilling rush of adventure, the lessons learnt in the outdoor classroom,  or the magical and reflective moments around the campfire, Idaho BaseCamp is devoted to cultivating the next generation of kind, empathetic, and bold leaders determined to leave the world a better place than they found it, on both a local and global scale.

“The magic of IBC is that children learn about the wilderness through play. I have seen through the experience of so many children, including my own, that it builds confidence, and most importantly, a powerful affinity with Nature.”

Alynn Stewart
Mother of Camper

"IBC has always taught our kids great values but I really could see this summer how the new responsibilities of taking care of little kids really helped them build confidence and mature. They also just love being part of the IBC community.

Thanks to all of you for all you do."
